Initial Evaluation

Initial psychiatric evaluations typically take 60-90 minutes. Our provider will conduct a detailed interview covering:

  • Social and occupational functioning
  • Sleep patterns, appetite, and energy levels
  • Substance use history

Following your assessment, your provider will:

  • Discuss their diagnostic impressions with you
  • Explain your diagnosis in understandable terms

  • Answer all your questions
  • Schedule follow-up appointments as needed
